Porcelain Jug
The item shown here is a porcelain jug to store water for a few days. In Tamil, we called it as "kooja". It was made from porcelain material and the top cover part was made from brass. Believed to be practiced in early 20th century. Made in France. Very rare item among all. Quite heavy for its size. According to the seller this item was used by a wealthy individual. The common used was a brass that was posted earlier. Tamil words inscribed on it.
