Lime Container (Betel)
This brass container was used to keep lime (kapur) for selling betel leaves. In the old days, if we go to the grocery shop or "Ottu Kadai" or small shop, we can see them selling the lime separately. I still remember in those days my grandpa ask me to buy lime for $0.05 sen and he will use it for a week. Although the size is small but it is quite heavy for its size. There is no marking or inscription on it.
