Cane Fans
Velvet cane fans made from velvet cloth. Those days Chettiar communities favourites and can be seen in their ceremonial occasions. It slowly going out of vogue. These cane fans covered with cloth. The size of these fans around couple of feet in diameter and the grip part made from thick leather. These fans normally gripped by an attendant and swung over the heads of a seated group. The decorative frill adding to the breeze generated.
