Butter Churn
This is an old butter churner. This was used in 1930's to 1940's period. This glass product was made in England. In Tamil this is called as "Mathu" and used to churn yogurt or "Tairu". Those days, this butter churner only available in wealthy homes. Purchased from an antique dealer from India and specially requested this product by us to add in our Tamil Treasure collection. According to him, he bought this in Chennai. There is no any Tamil inscription on it. The dimension size is 11.1 inch x 3.5 inch and weighs 1.380kg.
