Burmese Teak Wood Barrel
This Burmese teak wood barrel was used to keep dry ingredients in kitchen those days by Indian community. According to some sources, this barrel was brought from Burma to India. Later part this barrel was taken to Malaya through ship (Rajula & Chithabaram), when they come here. According to seller this was bought in Taiping from an Indian family. Hand made. Heavy to its size. This barrel available in different sizes according to individual preference. Top on it, initial was incised. Interesting piece!!!
