The scene here in this photo was taken on May 24th, 1949, a dinner held in honour of Mr N.T Assomull, President of Indian Chamber, Penang, on the eve of his departure at the E&O Hotel, Penang. The most significant of this photo is that all of them are wearing their own traditional attire. This is truly a 1Malaysia.
